CONTENT CREATORS CHALLENGE
All high school students in grades 9-12 who are residents of Central Alabama are eligible to enter either of the Content Creators Challenges, including public, private and home school students. Submissions will be accepted by individuals or student teams.

2019 Alice 3D Animation Challenge
This year we are introducing the Alice 3D Animation Challenge! The specific details of this challenge will be announced via Facebook livestream. The online announcement will take place Friday, October 18 at 11 a.m. from the Flight of Arts Facebook page. Following the announcement, we will update the website with the challenge criteria. You will have 24hrs to complete and submit your project. The final project will be showcased on Saturday, October 19 at the Content Creators Panel.

2019 Filmmaker Challenge
CALLING ALL HIGH SCHOOL FILMMAKERS!
The 2019 Filmmaker Challenge is now open! To participate, high school students must create a short film (two minutes max) telling a cinematic story in any genre, following the creative challenge and all rules below.
Entries will be scored by a panel of independent judges on the criteria described. Top 3 scorers will screen at a Content Creators Panel on Saturday, October 19 at during the Flight of Arts weekend. Winners will be announced at the screening. Awards will be presented to the Top 3 scorers.
Use your imagination! Be clever and creative! Most importantly, tell a story.
Deadline for entries is midnight on October 15.
To enter, follow these instructions:
Each short film entry must somehow include this specific prop - a CD (Compact Disc). Any Compact Disc will work. Use creativity to fit it into your story.
1. Each entrant must be a high school student (grades 9-12) currently living in Central Alabama.
2. Each entrant may only enter once.
3. Films must be at least 30-seconds long and no longer than two (2) minutes.
4. All entries must follow the Creative Challenge above and have at least one 3-second shot of the assigned prop (Compact Disc).
HOW TO ENTER:
1. Make an awesome short film, following the contest guidelines and shooting requirements.
2. Upload your film to either YouTube or Vimeo by midnight on October 15.
3. Include the hashtag: #flightofartsmgm -- in your video description once you've uploaded it.
4. Complete and submit the official online entry form here.
Films will be judged by a panel of independent judges on the following:
Script and Story: Including approach to the creative challenge (use of Compact Disc)
Production Value: Design, including graphics, special effects, music scoring, production design, sets, costumes, etc.
Overall Creativity: Creative use of technology (smartphone vs. camera), location (single vs. multiple), cast, props, etc.
